Days of our Lives Casting News: Ivan G’Vera Back In Salem As Ivan

This time, when Vivian and Louise Sorel return to Salem and Days of our Lives, she will have her longtime companion with her. Yes, we will harken back to the days of Vivian and Ivan now that Ivan G’Vera is making his soap comeback.

The actor debuted on the show in 1992 and played Ivan on and off for nearly two decades. He was last seen in 2011 when he convinced his “Madame” to move with him and star in his Bollywood films.

According to Soaps.com, G’Vera will be onscreen again soon. Many fans wondered where he was when Sorel brought Vivian back to Salem in 2018, but she seemed to prefer flying solo. Vivian was soon presumed dead after Kate shot her, but we learned she was alive in 2019 with Robin Strasser pinch-hitting in the role.

Vivian will soon learn that a man who looks just like her son is roaming around Salem, but is he Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash)? Perhaps Ivan will know a secret that can reveal Jake’s true identity. We all know Gabi (Camila Banus) would certainly be grateful if he did indeed turn out to be her beloved Stefan.

DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
