Days of our Lives: Behind The Scenes At Salem’s Three Weddings

It’s a week for weddings on Days of our Lives, even weddings that don’t necessarily go right. Namely, Eli and Lani’s, as that pair never married after all.

But, Jack and Jennifer and Justin and Adrienne got married again and we are pretty sure we’ve lost count by now. Jack and Jennifer’s first wedding was a rodeo affair in the 1990s, but Justin and Adrienne’s first wedding harkens back to the 1980s and took place on location in Greece.

This time the double wedding was a small Salem affair right in Horton Square. Heck, one wedding was already aborted and Marlena and guests were available, so marry these four did — although things are about to go terribly wrong. DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines has kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.
