Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on Days of Our Lives.
Best Laid Plans
Brady (Eric Martsolf) demanded an explanation from his brother but “Nicole” (Stacy Haiduk) quickly accused Eric (Greg Vaughan) of assaulting her and throwing her onto the floor.
Eric denied the claim insisting that he was just trying to reason with her and she pulled away from him but Brady insisted that he leave.
When “Nicole” tried to become physical with him, Brady left the room leaving and an unhinged Kristen ripped her mask off and completely trashed her room. She was able to compose herself and chillingly promised that Brady would be hers, no matter what!
Hoisted By Her Own Petard
Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) thought a little self-promotion would be harmless when she programmed one of her original tunes as her cell phone alert but it may prove her undoing.
First, Grandma Marlena (Deidre Hall) heard it and noted the similarities to the song Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) remembered hearing in their therapy session. Then, as she served Ben and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) breakfast, it went off and Ben immediately knew it was the same piece of music.
Small Victories
A smug Jack (Matthew Ashford) felt that he finally had the leverage needed to get JJ (Casey Moss) and Haley (Thia Megia) back to Salem when he phoned his son and threatened to have Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) thrown in jail for attacking him.
JJ returned to Salem, leaving Haley in Tripp’s (Lucas Adams) hands, and promised to reveal Haley location if Jack had Jennifer’s charges dismissed. When Jack did just that JJ defiantly refused to honor his side of the bargain.
Family Intervention
With his end fast approaching, Will (Chandler Massey) initially chose to forgo family interaction and instead focus on an expose about Jack and his ineptitude. But further complications led him to confide the truth to grandma Marlena and he requested that she call Sami.
Elsewhere, having been told by John (Drake Hogestyn) that Eve (Kassie DePaiva) most likely has Rolf’s journal, Sonny Freddie Smith) confronted the former call girl and threatened to murder her if she didn’t hand over the tome. (Really, Sonny?)
The Cabin, the Cabin’s On Fire
A chance encounter with Rory (Kevin Riggin) resulted in Claire learning that Tripp, not JJ, was the leaving the country with Haley. She made a beeline for the Horton cabin and spied on the two from outside the window.
Completely misconstruing the situation and becoming violently jealous, Claire doused the cabin with gasoline and set it on fire.
