Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on Days of Our Lives.
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) found herself stunned by Rex’s (Kyle Lowder) determination to marry right away. Eric (Greg Vaughan) arrived ready to pledge his love to Sarah but instead agreed to marry her and Rex.
With the hospital chapel serving as the church and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) as a witness, the wedding ceremony began. Eric struggled to read the appropriate passages but he made it through and declared Rex and Sara husband and wife.
“Memories, Like The Corners of My Mind….”
Upon learning that Rolf’s diary had been found, Jack (Matthew Ashford) struggled to decide if he should attempt to regain his memories or not. An anxious Jack tracked Kayla down at the hospital and asked about the diary. Kayla told him that Will was now the diary’s owner.
Jack broached the subject of acquiring the diary but Will (Chandler Massey) told him that it would come with a price — JJ’s (Casey Moss) charges must be dropped. Jack pulled some strings at the D.A.’s office and brought proof to both JJ and Will. Will, in turn, gave Jack the book.
Jailhouse Blues
Ted (Gilles Marini) was able to dissuade Xander (Paul Telfer) from killing him by pointing out that having an alive D.A. in his back pocket was better than having a dead lawyer on his conscience. Xander lied to Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) about his actions and boasted that he had indeed killed Ted.
Kate (Lauren Koslow) eavesdropped on Xander and Kristen’s conversation and she called the police to report Ted’s murder.
Eve called Xander and let him known about the tip-off and he bum-rushed Kate into the suite. While Xander distracted Kate, Kristen snuck up behind her and knocked her unconscious. Despite Kristen’s insistence that Kate had to be killed, Xander simply imprisoned her inside the same room as Ted.

JJ was ecstatic to find Haley (Thia Megia) at his door. Haley revealed that she is now able to stay in the U.S. while awaiting her Visa. JJ swept Haley up into his arms and declared his undying love for her.
“She’s A Crazy Bitch….”
Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) fell right into Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Tripp’s (Lucas Adams) crafty trap. Eve (Kassie DePaiva) tried to warn Claire that Ciara and Tripp were on to her via text message.
But the warning set Claire off further and she held a butcher’s knife to Tripp’s throat, nearly killing him as she drew blood.
