Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on Days of Our Lives.
Matrimony
Will (Chandler Massey) decided that with his time on Earth drawing to a close he wanted to go out married to the man that he loved.
So, from his hospital bed, he proposed to Sonny (Freddie Smith), who happily accepted. Later, a visiting Gabi (Camila Banus) supplied Will with a ring so he could re-propose properly.
Forest Fires
Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) arrived at the Horton cabin, barely missing Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) who had set the structure ablaze. He picked up her discarded lighter and was promptly arrested by Eli (Lamon Archey).
Inside the cabin, Haley (Thia Megia) tripped and struck her head on a table and Tripp (Lucas Adams) succumbed to the fumes but the unconscious pair were carried to safety by Eli and the other officers. After assessing Haley’s condition, Eli placed her under arrest.
At the police station, Ben was finally able to convince Ciara (Victoria Konefl) that Claire was responsible not only for this latest fire but also the one that nearly cost Ciara her life. They hatched a plan wherein Ciara would pretend she had turned against Ben, putting her in a position to try and tip Claire into confessing.
Offerings
Realizing that he could score brownie points with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) by handing over Rolf’s journal, Xander (Paul Telfer) did just that shocking the two women and Brady (Eric Martsolf), who didn’t believe his cousins’ story about finding the journal in Nashville.
Sarah and Maggie rushed the loony doctor’s notes to the hospital where Sarah and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) went to work trying to synthesize the formula hoping against hope that they could save Will’s life.
She Outta Here

Eve (Kassie DePaiva) arrived at the hospital to inform JJ (Casey Moss) and Haley that Haley had been medically cleared and her deportation would proceed in an hours time. Melinda (Laura Kai Chen) also arrived with news but hers was of a more pleasant variety: She would be accompanying her daughter to China where they will continue to fight for her citizenship.
During their last few moments together Haley asked JJ not to wait for her and to forget his plans to immigrate to China to be with her. She told him that she feared that their romance was not meant to be but she would always remember him.
No Good Deed
Like Xander, Ted (Giles Marini) also tried to impress a lady by committing a good deed. Convinced that revealing the truth about Holly’s survival would make Hope (Kristian Alfonso) see him as a hero, Ted liberated the original autopsy report from Xander’s room and set about tracking down “Nicole”.
He was able to find her at the DiMera mansion (basking in her victory at securing the CEO ship of a revamped Basic Black) and revealed the truth to her.
Unlucky for Ted, Kristen (also Arianne Zucker) was determined to preserve her carefully orchestrated scheme. When she learned Ted had told no one else the news she struck him in the head with a fireplace poker!
