Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on Days of Our Lives.

Scarebear Gets Busted
Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) arrived at the loft to find Tripp (Lucas Adams) unconscious and bleeding from a head wound. After Tripp came round, Marlena called him an ambulance and also phoned Hope (Kristian Alfonso).

Ben realized that Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) had taken Ciara (Victoria Konefal) back to where it all began — the cabin in the woods.

The rescue grandmas and Ben made it to the cabin just in time to talk Claire out of setting a gasoline-soaked Ciara ablaze. After Ciara was untied and escorted out by Hope and Ben, Claire nearly used the lighter to burn herself. At the hospital, Marlena ordered that Claire be sedated and restrained.

Ciara gets ahold of Claire’s phone and listened to the voicemail Eve left Claire concerning Ciara and Tripp’s plot to trap her. It suddenly hit Ciara like a ton of bricks that Eve knew the whole time that Ben was innocent of the arson charges.

Ciara shared the recording with Ben, Marlena and John. “Jarlena” confronted Eve and let her know that the jig is up. They know she manipulated Claire instead of getting her the help she desperately needed. They promised to bring the full weight of the law down on Eve’s head!

Bedfellows
An after-hours chat at the bar led Carrie (Christie Clark) to tell Rafe (Galen Gering) that she and Austin had separated. There is no bad blood, however. They just simply drifted apart. Honesty apparently made them feel sexy, so Carrie and Rafe retired to her guest room upstairs and they made love.

The next morning Eric (Greg Vaughan) was …continue reading on the next page —>

The next morning Eric (Greg Vaughan) was horrified to see them in bed together and Carried had to explain her newly single status. Later, Hope overheard Carrie admitting to Sara that she and Rafe had been intimate.

When Rafe tried to talk to Hope about a possible reconciliation she shot him down and told him she knew about his recent dalliance.

Love Amongst The Fireworks
As the 4th of July fireworks crackled overhead, Eli (Lamon Archey) surprised Lani (Sal Stowers) by getting down on one knee and proposing marriage. Lani, her eyes overflowing with tears, gave him an enthusiastic yes.

A Very Unpleasant Shock
Kristen (As played by Arianne Zucker) was riding on cloud nine. Not only had she convinced Stefan to rehire her at DiMera but she had delegated the killing of two rivals to her partner in crime Xander (Paul Telfer).

So imagine her surprise when she walked into a room in the DiMera tunnels and discovered a very much alive Ted (Gilles Marini) and Kate (Lauren Koslow). Was she seeing ghosts? Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
