Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on Days of Our Lives.
Tit-For-Tat
Not only did Eve (Kassie DePaiva) destroy every last vial of the memory returning serum but she shut down the lab that was producing it and proceeded to shred every piece of documentation she could get her hands on. In retaliation Jack (Matthew Ashford) fired her on the spot and warned that he was divorcing her.
New Sheriff In Town
Now that the terrible reign of Police Commissioner Devereaux is at an end there was suddenly a vacant post. And Jack was certain he had the perfect replacement – Eli (Lamon Archey)!
It took some convincing but he eventually accepted the promotion. However, Eli worried how Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) would react to her grandson taking the post that should, by rights, go to her sister-daughter, Hope (Kristian Alfonso).
Strange Bedfellows
A reluctant Tony (Thaao Penghlis) agreed to play stooge to Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) scheme to wed (under the guise of Nicole Walker) as long as she agreed that as soon as she was instilled in the power seat they would annul the marriage so he could reunite with Anna.
With her pseudo brother on board (yea it’s just a brother by adoption but still ick) Kristen began phase two of her plan. That required her to convince Brady (Eric Martsolf) of a heretofore untold backstory concerning her growing close to Tony in a hospital after he saved her from the warehouse fire.
Dumb as a box of rocks Brady bought the explanation and inexplicably agreed that Nicole should try and wed the undead DiMera. Boy, he really wants to stick it to Stefan (Brandon Barash), huh?

Rex’s (Kyle Lowder) red hot passion for Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) was severely dampened when she called him Eric (Greg Vaughan)! The flustered doc demanded an explanation from his wife. Is she in love with his brother? Without much prompting, Sarah responded in the affirmative.
Best Laid Plans
DiMera board-member Mr. Shin arrived at Stefan’s home with some less-than-pleasing news — Stefan is out. Gabi (Camila Banus) revealed that she and Stefan have just exchanged wedding vows so she was more than willing to step up and fill the empty CEO seat. Not so fast, said “Nicole” who also had a marriage to a DiMera heir to declare.
Fighting fire with fire, Gabi promised that if Mr. Shen promoted her to lead the company she would strip her husband of any all power — lest the board fear he will influence her future decisions.
Surprisingly it took some convincing to bring Stefan around to her way of thinking but he finally acquiesced and signs over all personal assets, including the house and his power of attorney to his new missus.
Satisfied, Mr. Shen congratulated Gabi on her promotion. Later, when Stefan offered to toast to their success, he was shocked when Gabi countered that he should get the hell out of her house! Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
