DAYS’ Nadia Bjorlin Spills Shocker About Chloe and Deimos’ History

Sexy “Days of Our Lives” star Nadia Bjorlin can’t wait to sink her teeth into a new on-screen relationship with Vincent Irizarry (Deimos).

Now that she’s back from maternity leave after taking several months off after the birth of her first son, Torin, things will soon become more interesting.

Bjorlin recently welcomed her first child with husband Grant Turnball. She revealed in an interview with Soap Central how motherhood has not only changed her life, but also her work.

“Being A Mom Is Hard!”
“I’m such a workhorse, and I had a really great pregnancy. I felt really good, except for the first trimester,” said Bjorlin. “But then I realized motherhood was a lot harder than I thought!”

“Your life really isn’t yours anymore. It’s not about you anymore. It’s like, ‘Okay, this is how it’s going to be from now on. Nobody cares about me, it’s all about him!'” she laughed about the shift in power in her household to its smallest member.

New Storyline Awaits
Upon her return to DAYS, the actress was thrust into a meaty storyline alongside Irizarry. Working with the actor has posed its own set of unique challenges. The two created a fictional backstory for their characters as they work out their new relationship on-camera.

“I was like, ‘Wait a minute, what is Chloe and Deimos’ relationship? What are they doing?’ And we are trying to figure it out, trying to figure out just what our relationship is,” Bjorlin explained.

There are a lot of flashbacks [that tell the story] of how we met. The writers further intertwine the characters on the show, because there are more who’ve had a story with Deimos,” she spilled.
 
“Vincent Irizarry Is Sexy!”
Bjorlin explained that although she had known Irizarry, being thrown into a romantic storyline was difficult.

“You know, we were essentially strangers, and we were thrown into this together, like, ‘You guys need to create this thing, now go.’ I mean, he’s a sexy man! And he’s really nice and open,” she said.
