Deimos has emerged as one of Salem’s vilest villains on Days of Our Lives (DOOL).
During his run on the soap, actor Vincent Irizarry’s character has pulled some horrific stunts.
Deimos was responsible for crippling Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), poisoning Abigail (Marci Miller) and Gabi (Camila Banus), and slew of other crimes ranging from kidnapping to ordering a few murders.
What is Days of Our Lives fans’ opinion of the unscrupulous baddie? Soap Hub posed that question in our recent poll and nearly 8,000 of you spoke out. Here are your thoughts on the Salem scoundrel.
Don’t Like Him
Salem doesn’t need another baddie of Deimos’s magnitude, according to 56% of you. It’s gotten to the point where the guy has no redeeming qualities. He’s pure evil. You’ve got no reason to pull for him or any of his diabolical machinations.
As an avid soap fan, you know that means the end of the line for the character. And, quite frankly, you’re ready for him to go.
He’s a Great Villain
Let’s face it. Daytime would be dullsville without characters like Deimos. You need someone to stir the pot, threaten the good guys, and wreak havoc in town.
As a result, 42% of you think Deimos is a great villain. He’s mean, he’s nasty, and he has no remorse for any of his actions. That describes premiere bad guys to a tee.
Totally Oblivious
The remaining 2% of DAYS fans are pretty much oblivious to Deimos. After months of witnessing his crimes, and the DiMera and Hernandez families trying to take him down to no avail, you’ve grown bored with him and his storylines. It’s gotten the point where you just don’t care.
