Days of Our Lives Super Couple Performing in Fundraiser

While Steve and Kayla may have problems getting their act together on Days of Our Lives, the actors who portray them are teaming up for a fundraiser.

Actress Mary Beth Evans (Kayla) took to Twitter to make an exciting announcement:

Details Are Slim
We don’t know what they’ll perform, but we do know when and where.
The Barnsdall Gallery Theater is located in the heart of Hollywood, California. This isn’t the first time these two longtime pals have appeared on stage together for a fundraiser. Perhaps that performance could provide a clue as to what they’ll perform on Sunday, November 13.

Several years ago, Evans and Nichols performed the A. R. Gurney play, Love Letters, which helped raise money for a charity that was near and dear to their hearts. The Aliso Academy for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, a Montessori school in Southern California, was founded in part by Evans’sister, Deborah. There’s a good chance this could be another production of this special play. In it, the two actors usually sit at a table with two chairs facing the audience. They read from letters that their characters sent to each other over the span of a lifetime. It’s been performed by many famous couplings over the years–from soaps to films.

Meanwhile in Salem
A play with two popular actors is a nice thing to look forward to after the Days of Our Lives drought caused by the Olympics.
