Lani’s life might be devastating right now, but actress Sal Stowers has reason to celebrate on Days of Our Lives (DOOL).
According to SheKnows.com, Stowers has signed to stay on the show until the fall of 2019, which should come as a relief to Lani’s fans with both Eli (Lamon Archey) and JJ (Casey Moss).
The actress has brought in rave reviews for her work of late, especially the way she handled Lani’s grief over the death of her son wtih Eli, David Abraham Grant. Archey was one of those showering her with praise, which he shared to Twitter.
“I saw first hand how tough this current storyline was on @SalStowers. It’s hard to shake off those emotions she went through day in and day out. You did an amazing job and I’m proud of you. #Respect See ya at work tomorrow. ”
Stowers responded to his kindness, saying, “Thank you @LamonArchey. This means a lot. Truly thankful for you and all that you gave during our scenes. #proud.”
It’s good to know she will be sticking around Salem, continuing to play Abe’s (James Reynolds) daughter. Their scenes together also shined as Abe found himself in unfamiliar territory, trying to comfort the daughter he didn’t raise in one of the worst moments of her life.
The talented actress first started on DAYS in September 2015. She was off the show briefly after she was let go in December of that same year. Stowers returned to her role the following April. Prior to winning her DAYS role, she played Cassandra Foster on the All My Children reboot.
