She’s thrilled fans as Lani Price on Days of Our Lives since 2015 and now Sal Stowers has even more reason to celebrate.
That’s because she was born as Saleisha Lashawn Stowers on January 20, 1986, in Pasadena, California, which means she turned 33 yesterday! She was raised in Madera by her grandmother.
Stowers eventually moved to Los Angeles and was signed by Photogenics Model Management. She appeared in a commercial for the fast-food restaurant, Wendy’s. She also modeled for DOMIJ clothing, and d.e.m.o.
Stowers also appeared in an episode of the TV series Ugly Betty, as well as two episodes of the Tyra Banks Show, where she modeled for Rami, Project Runway Season Four contestant.
Next, she made her way to America’s Next Top Model, which she ended up winning. Thanks to that win, she was signed by Elite Model Management and L.A. Model Management.
As part of her prize, Stowers received a contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics, where she was in the WetSlicks Fruit Spritzers campaign, and appeared on the cover of Seventeen magazine in February of 2008.
In addition, she also appeared in the Robin Thicke: Sex Therapy video short. Other primetime shows include The New Girl, Switched at Birth, and The Fosters.
The soap world came calling in 2013, when Stowers was given the opportunity to play the daughter of the legendary Angie Hubbard (Debbi Morgan), Cassandra Foster, on the Prospect Park’s version of All My Children. In 2015, she won the role of Lani on DAYS.
The IMDB has Stowers involved in a project called Beyond Therapy, in which she’s in five episodes.
