A former Days of Our Lives actor took to Twitter to tear into his former show, which may not win him many more fans.
Jonathon McClendon, who played Aiden’s (Daniel Cosgrove) son Chase, used the social network to air grievances he has against the show. It’s not known what set the actor off, but he put it all out there for the world to see.
It looks like he was not happy that his teen character was turned into a rapist when Chase attacked childhood friend Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) on Alice Horton’s couch. That moment marked another dark turn for his story and as well as for the show.
Perhaps the most shocking revelation is that he intends to switch from watching DOOL and his former co-stars to watching General Hospital! Indeed, he even said 52 years is too long for the show.
What do you think is going on with McClendon’s epic Twitter rant?
You can read the shocking tweets below to see his thoughts on his unhappy storyline as well as other serious issues he has with the way the show is handled. He claimed he didn’t want to be Chase the rapist, but the day after the rape scenes aired he streamed a Twitter video claiming Ciara wanted to be raped and seemed pleased with the attention he was receiving from female fans, although we cannot confirm his true feelings while streaming that video.
Is this a case of sour grapes from an actor who was let go?

They also let one of my friends go without even telling her. There was just a different actress name next to her character.#classy @nbcdays

I love how @nbcdays finally used one of @BradEYoung‘s photos, but decided it was ok to cut his logo. #plagiarism #classy #noshame #pathetic
