Days of Our Lives Star Kate Mansi Starring in Feature Film Boyfriend Killer

Popular “Days of Our Lives” star Kate Mansi (Abby) has been off the set since December, but she took with her something valuable–the ability to portray an attempted murderess!

Mansi is currently in Fort Lauderdale, Florida working on the feature film, “Boyfriend Killer”. Mansi’s plays Krystal, a character whose boyfriend Preston (Michael Uribe) dies in a car accident. But, maybe it wasn’t an accident.

Krystal’s boyfriend’s mother, Sandra (Barbie Castro), discovers communications between the two in which Krystal asked Preston to kill her ex. Now the ex and Preston are dead. Will Sandra be able to bring Krystal down before she winds up dying in a mysterious accident as well? Or, is Krystal as innocent as our dear Abby? I guess we’ll have to go see the film when it’s released in 2017!

Although we’re all sad for the moment when Mansi’s last scenes airs on DOOL, are you excited to see one of our favorite Salem ladies take her talent to the big screen? Fans and fellow cast members are predicting a Daytime Emmy for her portrayal of Abby’s growing insanity. Perhaps we’ll be screaming “Oscar” for her in 2017.
