You love all of the talented Days of Our Lives (DOOL) stars, but do you know which one was in an Oscar-winning film?
Something all of these ladies have in common is they have either recently returned to DAYS, are about to return, or perhaps even both. But only one had a role in the Oscar-winning film, The Artist.
Chrishell Hartley is returning in the new year as Jordan, Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) sister. While away from the show, she appeared on The Young and the Restless as Bethany, married former Y&R heartthrob and current This Is Us star Justin Hartley, and made a film with him, Another Time, but she was not in The Artist.
Alison Sweeney has been incredibly busy when not doing guest-arc appearances on DAYS. She has a few made-for-TV-movie franchises for Hallmark and is indispensable to the network. Of course, she also finds time to revisit her Salem stomping grounds… but she wasn’t in The Artist.
Arianne Zucker is also slated to bring Nicole, back to Salem. While away, she’s shot a couple of movies and appeared in Ladies of The Lake: Return to Avalon, but the talented actress was not in The Artist.
That leaves Jen Lilley, who recently wrapped up a return to Salem when Theresa left to care for an ailing Kimberly and took Tate with her. Lilley has been busy recording her new CD, as well as appearing in many Hallmark movies. But back in 2011, she appeared in the French film, The Artist.
That film has another daytime connection. One of its Oscar-winning executive producers is Antoine de Cazotte, husband of Lisa de Cazotte, who happens to be the current supervising producer of The Young and the Restless.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
