Too Much to Handle
Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) has been spiraling down since learning that Abigail “died” in the plane crash. She’s devastated beyond words, and even conjured up her late husband’s spirit to help her through it. After making Jack promise to watch out for their daughter, she couldn’t promise back that she wouldn’t turn to drugs to numb her pain. Despite her suing Chad (Billy Flynn) for custody of Thomas, Jennifer can’t escape her demons and hides in a hotel room to numb her pain with alcohol and drugs.
News Spreads
Theo (Kyler Pettis) shares the news of Abigail’s death with Ciara (Vivian Jovanni). She quickly runs over to see Chad to let him know that she’s there to help in any way and that she has feelings for him. But he’s mired in his own sadness and barely notices her. He’s too busy thinking about his son and how he’s going to handle the custody battle.
Chad is having a hard time keeping his head above water. He’s drowning in despair, mourning for Abigail, and he can’t seem to function. He confides in Belle (Martha Madison) about how he feels. He lets her know that he can’t continue with the custody battle and plans to give up.
Music Heals
Theo is feeling dejected and alone after Ciara took off to comfort Chad. He turns to his budding friendship with Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan). She shares with him a brand-new song that brings them both some comfort and they grow a little closer. Could a romance be blossoming?
