Days of Our Lives spoilers (DOOL) for September 5-8 promise a week of misadventures, misunderstandings, and utter confusion throughout Salem.
Seeing Double
John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) have so far been unsuccessful in escaping the sanitarium, but at least they’ve had each other to talk to.
Next week, as John and Marlena make one big attempt at freedom, Hattie continues to perplex Salemites and Paul (Christopher Sean) is finally catching on that this might not be Marlena at all. He turns to Hope (Kristian Alfonso) for help, but Andre is even more confused.
After making a major announcement and talking to Hattie, Andre (Thaao Penghlis)Â then runs into John and Marlena and this certainly doesn’t seem like the Marlena who he’s been having interesting chats with.

More Double Trouble
At least Marlena seems to be faring better than Adrienne (Judi Evans), as nobody in prison seems to have figured out she’s not Bonnie yet. She seems to make an ally there, but Bonnie runs into a little trouble in Salem.
Hope questions her about Anjelica and by the end of the week she makes a bold move.
Gabi’s In Trouble (SHOCKER)!
Gabi (Camila Banus) once again finds herself in a dangerous situation and Rafe (Galen Gering), Hope, and Eli (Lamon Archey) have to race against time to save her.
That seems to happen a lot to Gabi, but perhaps this will bring her and Eli closer together.
So Little Troubles
