Rekindled Romance
After being apart for so long, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans)’s relationship has thawed. Steve has learned to be more upfront with Kayla and not control her life. Kayla has realized she can’t chain him up and keep him in a safe but uninteresting line of work. As they take stock of their relationship and look forward to the future, they receive unsettling news.

Too Good to be True?
Chad (Billy Flynn) has had a right to be dubious of Andre (Thaao Penghlis). So, no one was more surprised when Andre came through and helped rid Salem of Clyde (James Read). Andre let it be known that he wants to be a part of the new branding of the family business. Chad appreciates what Andre’s had to offer and the two come to an understanding. But, can Andre really be trusted?

Good to Have Options
Eduardo (A Martinez) was kicking himself for his part in The Terrible Trio escape. Slowly but surely, he’s been coming out of it. He discusses his new “family business” with Kate (Lauren Koslow), as their attraction to each other remains strong, and he offers her a job.

Fighting for His Life
It’s been a rough road for JJ (Casey Moss) ever since Orpheus (George DelHoyo) shot him. He has had both Gabi (Camila Banus) and his mother Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) by his side through the ordeal, praying for his recovery. Spoilers reveal that Gabi’s relieved when JJ takes a turn for the better.
