Another month, another set of returnees to Days of Our Lives.
This time around the visitors have been welcome ones, unlike the escaped cons who wreaked havoc on the town’s citizens. Mainly, it’s been an influx of parental units — from Theresa’s mother and father, Kim and Shane (Charles Shaughnessy), to Chloe and Jennifer’s beloved moms, Nancy and Laura, respectively. Soap Hub asked which of the above characters you’d like to see more of on DAYS.
Kim and Shane
It was Kim (Patsy Pease) and Shane by a landslide. The majority of fans, 68%, would love to see yesteryear’s supercouple stick around Salem. It’s been years since the pair have been a major part of the show, and you’ve missed them. You’d love to see them return full-time – maybe even with their son Andrew – and become a prominent part of the soap’s canvas again.

Nancy
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) needs her mom more than ever, so 21% of you are rooting for Nancy (Patrika Darbo) to get more screen time. You loved Nancy’s powerful scenes with Deimos and remember the mighty mama bear she can be when protecting her daughter. In fact, you wouldn’t mind if hubby Craig (Kevin Spirtas) resurfaced with her, too.
Laura
The strife surrounding the emotionally unstable Abigail (Marci Miller) has 11% of you eager for Laura (Jaime Lyn Bauer) to become a permanent fixture in Salem. Her daughter Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) has her hands full with her two grown children, Abigail and JJ (Casey Moss), and could use some help and guidance. Laura could offer all that plus a much needed dose of love and support.
