The “Days of Our Lives recaps” for May 9-13 highlight a week of shocking moments for your favorite Salem citizens, including Hope and the entire Salem PD.
The last person Hope (Kristian Alfonso) expected to see in her living room was Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove), a man she last saw dead in the same place. Of course, it turned out that the dead man wasn’t Aiden at all, but instead his doppelganger sent by Andre to kill her. Aiden ended up caged by Andre (Thaao Penghlis) for months watching life in Salem play out in news clips on a TV screen. He finally escaped and headed over to Hope’s not knowing if she was alive or dead.
Hope promptly arrested Aiden, but at the cop shop he refused to speak to anyone but her. Hope tried to believe this man was the impostor, but evidence showed otherwise. She also had a hard time explaining to Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) what was going on.
At the hospital, the virus spread and claimed lives. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and John (Drake Hogestyn) also fell sick, but Gabi slowly recovered. While the hospital remained under quarantine, Steve (Stephen Nichols) searched for Joey. Meanwhile, Joey (James Lastovic) and Jade (Paige Searcy) ended up at her aunt’s desert commune in California where they might find themselves in heaps of trouble.
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) might also find herself in heaps of trouble. She grew closer to Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) than she expected last week, while Kate (Lauren Koslow) seethed. The old rivalry was back on and there’s no telling ho will win. In the meantime, Deimos’ big brother had a hard time adjusting to apartment life and “enjoying his golden years.” Nobody puts Victor (John Aniston) in a corner–not even Kate.
