The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, November 21 features Victor finally seeing the error of his ways and bringing Sonny home — to Will.
Adrienne (Judi Evans) and Justin (Wally Kurth) tried to play Victor (John Aniston), who he was keeping Will (Chandler Massey) from reuniting with Sonny (Freddie Smith). Will overheard Victor explaining how he was protecting Sonny but Will interrupted. He admitted he’s hurt Sonny and left.
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) invited Eric (Greg Vaughan) to Thanksgiving and when he begged off, she played the Holly card so he gave in. When they got to Victor’s (John Aniston), he told Eric he wasn’t welcome. Justin and Adrienne bailed while Sarah tried to get Eric to stay.
Sarah told off Victor and wouldn’t back down. When Victor choked on an appetizer, Maggie called to Sarah to save him. After, Vic realized he’s pushed everyone away. Maggie asked Eric to stay and Holly joined them so he said yes. Later, Sarah and Eric played with Holly.
Will called Sami and learned that EJ is starting to communicate. Later, he found Adrienne and Justin eating out and joined them. They told him he is a part of their family. Meanwhile Victor ordered Sonny’s plane home — and Sonny was there to tell Will he’s thankful for him.
Valerie (Vanessa Williams) told Eli (Lamon Archey) about the job offer and he supported her. Meanwhile, Lani (Sal Stowers) schooled Abe (James Reynolds) on some things before she took off on a call.
Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Doug (Bill Hayes) hosted Thanksgiving at Doug’s Place. Sheila (Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins) was put to work by Julie but eventually she reminded Julie she doesn’t work for her. Julie didn’t know she hadn’t accepted her job offer.
Doug tried to make peace and then Eli arrived and Julie apologized. Abe and Sheila sparred again. But seated at the table, everyone said what they’re thankful for and then Doug led them in prayer. Later, Abe and Val agreed to try long distance love.
