The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, September 10 features both of Paul’s exes worried sick about his latest health crisis! Will it stop their reunion?
Change of Heart
Paul (Christopher Sean) asked Will (Chandler Massey) where they stand but Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) interrupted before he could answer. She ran tests on Paul but he couldn’t feel the tapping on his legs.
Kayla said to not jump to conclusions, that it may return to normal after the swelling goes down. He didn’t want to leave when Kayla asked him to, but after a kiss to the forehead, Will left them alone.
Paul asked Kayla about his prognosis and she said it wasn’t good. Meanwhile, Will met up with Sonny (Freddie Smith) in the park and filled him in. Both felt horrible for Paul.
A Mother’s Wishes
Belle (Martha Madison) was shocked by Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) medical directive. She told Eric (Greg Vaughan) they need to remove her from the ventilator. Eric begged her to find a way around it but she said it was legal.
Belle broke down that she doesn’t want this either but it’s what their mom wanted. Eric suggested they keep it quiet. Belle told her that she’s their mom’s health proxy so it falls on her to tell Kayla. Eric told her he wouldn’t let her.
John (Drake Hogestyn) went to see Roman (Josh Taylor) at the pub, despite feeling guilty for leaving Marlena. When John mentioned Steve, Roman tried to steer him away but finally told him what happened. At the hospital, John walked in on the Belle and Eric discussion.
Mommy Dearest
Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) tried to comfort a worried Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and advised the younger woman that she needs to believe in him and his sobriety. Chloe agreed but still worried.
Mommy Dearest
Bonnie (Judi Evans) told Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) he has a daughter, even though he couldn’t believe they actually had sex. She reminded him about Anjelica being dead in his bed after sex — but the sex was with her. He finally remembered. Sheila arrived with a baby, shocking poor Lucas.
