The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, June 19 features a day of life and death scares and scandalous schemes. Will made his way back to Sonny, word spread of a heartbreaking death, and Ciara worked overtime to take down Claire.
Fighting The Light
Will (Chandler Massey) gave everyone quite the scare when he slipped out of consciousness and even nearly died more than once. Kayla, Rex, and Sarah worked overtime to save his life and keep his vitals strong enough to allow the antidote to work.
True to form, Sami (Alison Sweeney) became an overbearing mess. The waiting was terrible, especially knowing her son was slipping in and out. So, she did the only thing she could do and prayed.
Sweet Caroline
While slipping away, Will saw Caroline surrounded by a bright light. His great grandma was there to be with him and guide him. Thankfully, she sent him back to earth instead of stealing him away to heaven.
Sadly, Caroline did not come back herself. She slipped away and when Roman called Kimberly to tell her about Will, he learned his mother had died.
Friends Forever
Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Sarah came to an understanding about their relationship. She belongs with Rex and he needs to fight for Nicole, or even find new love. However, Eric only had one woman on his mind. It’s just too bad his brother is in love with her, too.
Trapping Claire
Meanwhile, Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) put their plan into action to take down Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan). They played a game where Ciara pretended to be afraid of Ben and said she was packing up from his place and moving back in — with Tripp’s help.
Claire played up the blame Ben game but she went a little too far. She blamed Ben for everything, acted thankful for Ciara seeing the light, and even recommended therapy to figure out why her aunt loves the bad boys.
Ciara almost flew into a rage hearing her niece trash her boyfriend. She got herself under control just in time. This all reinforced Claire’s guilt and her determination to clear Ben’s name.
