The Days of Our Lives recap for Tuesday, July 16 features a day of lies, backstabbing, and bold moves. Gabi stood by her man, Sarah begged Eric to stay, and Xander got back at Kristen in a rather mischievous way!
You’ve Got A Frenemy In Me
Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers) barely had a chance to question Xander (Paul Telfer) before Eve (Kassie DePaiva) got involved. She took Xander to her office, he blackmailed her, and she released him all within minutes. Xander had too much dirt on her and she can not afford to play games.
While Xander was getting himself out of jail, Lani and Eli tried to rack up new ones. They had a chat with “Nicole” (who was already in a mood after getting turned down by Brady) only to leave with more questions than answers.
It was not long after Kristen’s world spun around. Xander stormed her room, accused her of throwing him under the bus, and went on the attack. He ripped off her mask and left with it. It’s one thing to take down Stefan, it’s another to take him down too.
Half-Truths
Meanwhile, Ted (Gilles Marini) found himself dodging questions from Hope (Kristen Alfonso). He told as many truths as he could but backed them up and filled in the holes with lie after lie after lie. It was the only way to save himself and keep Kristen from hurting Hope.

Kate (Lauren Koslow) also fell into that rhythm. Exposing Kristen was too dangerous so she continued to blame Stefan (Brandon Barash) just like she said. Kate even reminded Ted to keep his lips zipped. There is no reason to stir the pot, at least not yet.
Stand By Your Man
Speaking of Stefan, he and Gabi (Camila Banus) put a bunch of puzzle pieces together and realized Nicole was behind much of the drama. But, can they prove it?
Over at the apartment, Eric (Greg Vaughan) decided it was time to leave town. Much to his surprise, both Sarah and Rex stepped up to squash his plans. Days of Our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
