The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, August 26, 2019, features an hour of truth bombs and huge shockers. Tony, Kristen, and Xander had sins to confess and it turned lives upside down!
I Did It
Tony (Thaao Penghlis) did the right thing and shared his story with Anna (Leann Hunley). He didn’t WANT to be married to his sister, he HAD TO marry her — or else! Kristen had him right where she wanted and used it to her full advantage.
Tony even admitted to shooting Ted, by accident, of course. Anna took him to the station and stood by his side while he shared the details with Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers). It’s too bad they already knew.
Confession Sessions
The commissioner and detective heard it all from Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) herself. She first admitted it to Brady and then to the cops.
She’s a bad person but she was not going down for a crime she did not commit. Okay, yes, she took Ted’s body back to his house and make it look like a robbery, but she did it all to protect her brother. (Sure, Jan).
That was not the only confession she made, though. Once alone again with Brady (Eric Martsolf), she told him about little Holly. She did not kill the little girl either and she can prove it. Holly is still alive and with her mom!
More Twists
Xander (Paul Telfer) spilled the same story to Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), Eric (Greg Vaughan), and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers). He’s a terrible person who did some terrible things and had to get it all off his chest. However, instead of confessing to the cops, he bared his soul to the trio.
Thank You, Susan
Meanwhile, Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) spent some time with their new hero, Susan. Her life-saving heroics gave them a reason to celebrate. They broke out the good stuff and shared a few shots.
The trio put together all the times Kristne pretended to be Susan. As if that wasn’t bad enough, but Susan fell for that sisterly act too! Boy, Kristen’s a sneaky one. She had everyone fooled for a long time. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
