Days of Our Lives Recap: Jennifer Was Shocked As Jack Left With Eve!

The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, January 14 features Jennifer and Jack almost kissing.

Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) was distraught when Jack (Matthew Ashford) said they can’t fix things. He brought up his rapist past and said she deserves better. She told him about his abusive upbringing and overcoming it — and being there for her when she was raped.

Jennifer continued to tell him how loved he is by his family and asked him to tune out Eve’s lies. Jennifer professed her love and as it seemed Jack was about to give in, Eve arrived to collect Jack but Jennifer asked him to go with her instead. He left with Eve anyway.

Abby (Kate Mansi) showed up at Chad’s (Billy Flynn) and thanked him for the family dinner. Chad told her he offered Eve a job in Paris and asked how it went with Jack. She said it was nice but won’t last — like them.

Chad told her how much he wanted her and kissed her — and Abby let him! But don’t get excited cause she wasn’t ready for more just yet.

JJ (Casey Moss) questioned Haley (Thia Megia) about her connection to Melinda Trask (Laura Kai Chen).

He tried to get her to open up but Haley asked him to go as Melinda warned him not to mess with her. Alone, Melinda told Haley that JJ knows too much and to fix it or she will.

Earlier, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) saw Eve (Kassie DePaiva) and suggested she leave town but Eve refused. JJ came by and told Eve that Jack’s with his mom and she took off. Later, Haley went to see JJ because she had nowhere else to go.

Rex (Kyle Lowder) found Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) at Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) and wondered if he interrupted something. He wanted her back, and she told him she hasn’t given him a thought. Eric tried to leave but Sarah told him not to.
