The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, December 24 features a flabbergasted Abby upon learning that her mother doesn’t believe in her — so she rips her apart in front of everyone! Merry Christmas!
Abigail (Kate Mansi) gave a stunned Stefan (Tyler Christopher) divorce papers, removed her wig, and told him Gabby’s been gone for a long time.
He freaked when she said she was taking Charlotte. He swore he’d sue her for custody and, as she left, Ben returned, shocking her but she still took off with Charlotte.
It was a Christmas miracle when Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) woke up. Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) told Hope (Kristian Alfonso), Rafe (Galen Gering), and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). Hope asked her about what happened but Julie just knew it involved Gabi.
Chad (Billy Flynn) confronted Gabi (Camila Banus) about the paper in her hands. She played it off but was worried about Julie. She said she’s moving back to her parents’ house and offered it for him and Thomas.
Rafe arrived and told her Julie’s awake but doesn’t remember what happened. Later, Chad said yes to Gabi’s offer. When, Chad left and Gabi burned the DNA results.
Earlier, Ciara told Claire that Christmas Eve ornament party was cancelled because Julie hadn’t woken up.
Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) arrived and gave Ciara something to ward off evil spirits for her bike. Hope called and to say Julie’s awake and the party’s back on. Ciara felt bad that she was leaving Ben.
The Hortons all gathered for the party. Claire and Ciara arrived and both got the other a new ornament after last year’s fight. Hope gave Lani (Sal Stowers) an ornament for her late son, David, and she hung it with Eli (Lamon Archey). As Jennifer was about to put up Abby’s, she returned.
Abby told her she faked her relapse as everyone listened. Abby could see her mom didn’t believe her and she was furious. She grabbed her ornament and put it on the tree. After she stormed upstairs, Julie appeared and surprised everyone.
