The Days of Our Lives recap for Thursday, August 29, 2019, promise a heartbreaking day in Salem. Tears were shed as two fan favorites took their bows. Chloe decided to make the most of a dream offer and Tripp decided to follow in his Kayla’s footsteps.
A quick trip to New York was all Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) needed to know she wanted a change. So, when a huge offer came in to pack her things she took it.
Brady (Eric Martsolf) was not exactly happy to hear she was leaving. His life keeps turning upside down over and over again and this is the icing on the cake. First, Nicole is really Kristen and now Chloe is checking out. Of course, he also convinced her it was ok to come.
Good Luck, Tripp
Tripp (Lucas Adams) also got a fantastic offer. He was accepted into medical school in California. The only catch was he had to leave right away. And so, he did. He told his roomies to settle back in, ran to the hospital to share the news with Kayla, and then got on a flight.
Alone At Last
The move gave JJ (Casey Moss) and Haley (Thia Megia) cause to celebrate. There was no need to move in with Melinda. Trask (Laura Kai Chen) was happy with the way this turned out too. At least she pretended to be.
A Small Surprise
Melinda went off to turn another person’s world upside down. She tracked down Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and gave her a letter from Ted.
Deal Or No Deal?
Tensions rose at the SPD. Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) refused to give up Nicole’s location unless she had a deal. She demanded immunity! Of course, this was not something anyone at the station will allow, not even the Mayor!
However, Jack (Matthew Ashford) heard some food for thought from Jenn (Melissa Reeves). If they find Nicole, they may be able to find Rolf!
There’s A Fine Line
The drama over Nicole took a toll on Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). She finally had Eric all to herself and now she could lose him again. In fact, he messaged her saying he needed to see the hunt through. He’ll never rest without knowing what happened to Nicole.
Xander (Paul Telfer) offered Sarah a shoulder to lean on. She said no, called him names, and even slapped him right across the face.
