Days of Our Lives Recap: Jack Learns He Raped Kayla!

The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, January 7 features Jack learning a painful part of his past that shakes him to his core!

Ciara (Victoria Konefal) asked Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) to just answer Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) question about kidnapping Gabi. Ben said it’s his word against Gabi’s and her credibility is shot. Once Hope left, Ciara demanded Ben tell her the truth.

He confessed all and she was furious, wondering what else he’s capable of. He was devastated when she compared him to her rapist and kept saying it was just a job.

Still, she couldn’t support him. He asked where this left them, and she didn’t know and asked for time.

Stefan (Tyler Christopher) couldn’t believe Rafe (Galen Gering) was arresting him. At the station, Hope was shocked by it and told Stefan he could use a friend — which she could be if he gave up Ben. He refused and brought up her shooting an unarmed Stefano.

Jack (Matthew Ashford) found himself attracted to Eve (Kassie DePaiva) but he couldn’t stop thinking about kissing Jennifer and left. He went to the Pub and ran into Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). He wanted to meet Steve but was happy to talk with her.

She eventually revealed they were once married, but he realized she was leaving something out. Finally, she admitted he raped her but they got past it. She said he changed because of Jennifer’s love.

Eve went to see Jennifer, fearing Jack had gone there. Jennifer relished in her discomfort but said he wasn’t there. Eve said they’d be okay but Jennifer insisted Jack will find his way back to her. Eve lied that Jack was in her bed, but Jennifer noted he still left.

Xander (Paul Telfer) surprised Victor (John Aniston) and offered a flash drive with DiMera inside info in exchange for being CEO.

Victor offered money instead but Xander said no, then moved back in, and gave Victor time to decide. Maggie arrived and Victor updated her before a Xander traipsed through the living room in a towel.
