Days of Our Lives Recap: Jack and Jennifer Connect… Over Shakespeare!

The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, January 11 features Jennifer telling Jack some important truths… and possibly making a reconnection.

Chad (Billy Flynn) tricked Abigail into dinner with her family, not him. Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and JJ (Casey Moss) pled their case as Jack (Matt Ashford) arrived. He revealed that Chad paid him $10K to eat with them. They were disgusted but agreed to stay.

They had a deliciously awkward dinner and we couldn’t stop laughing. They told Jack about an evening of Shakespeare. Jack eventually stuck his foot in his mouth with Abby, but she still kissed him goodnight.

Alone with Jennifer, Jack asked what they were like. She admitted it was hard but their life was wonderful.

Eve (Kassie DePaiva) was wondering where Jack was but Chad showed up. He told her he’s in charge of DiMera now and he offered her a job as a senior vice president in Paris.

She realized it was all about getting her away from Jack for Abby’s sake. After he left, she thought about it while Abby showed up at Chad’s.

We learned that Haley (Thia Megia) is Melinda Trask’s (Laura Kai Chen) younger sister. Trask said Haley’s secret could destroy everything she built.

Melinda learned she knows JJ and told her she had to move out. No one can know about their connection but then JJ found them together.

Eric (Greg Vaughan) told Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) he wasn’t going to file for custody of Holly because he doesn’t want to disrupt her life.

Chloe thanked him and left. Eric cooked Sarah dinner and they made a mess, so Sarah put on Eric’s shirt. Sparks seemed to be flying but then Rex (Kyle Lowder) showed up.

Brady (Eric Martsolf) told off Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) for letting Eric have Holly. She didn’t give her approval, Sarah did it so he needed to get off his high horse.

They then talked about his failed relationships with both Chloe and Eve. Chloe arrived to get Parker, and Brady thanked her for her support.
