Days of Our Lives Recap: Has Nicole Truly Perished?

The Days of Our Lives recap for Tuesday, October 23 features the end of Nicole, or at least that’s what Eric was told.

Brady (Eric Martsolf), Sami (Alison Sweeney), and Eric (Greg Vaughan) watched in horror as the entire warehouse blew up with Nicole (Arianne Zucker) trapped inside.

Sami managed to get the mystery man she thought was EJ out. And, he could be EJ, but he was too burned to be recognized.

Brady got Eric to go to the hospital and be with Holly because he promised Nicole he’d take care of her little girl. Eric was in a state of grief and shock when the fire marshall gave him the pendant he gave Nicole for protection and said there were no survivors.

Back in Salem, Abby (Marci Miller) begged her family to believe she is not mentally ill and that Gabi (Camila Banus) has been setting her up. She said she’s sure she was drugged, Gabi moved her, and Gabi even changed her clothes.

And, it actually did happen, but it does sound like an unreal story. Gabi interrogated Kate (Lauren Koslow) to make sure the lie sounded real when she told it, and Kate agreed to keep helping Gabi after a little arm twisting.

Kate even followed up on how Abby is doing by making sure she had a psychiatric visit at the hospital. Meanwhile, JJ went looking for Gabi and found her purse, which had the bottle of pills in it. He started to open it.

At Horton Square, Paul (Christopher Sean) asked Will (Chandler Massey) who he was talking to when he said he needed to hear someone’s voice. Will admitted it was Sonny (Freddie Smith), but then Sonny happened by and clarified he was talking to Ari.

Paul let Sonny know he and Will are moving into an apartment together, and Sonny later told Will he did the right thing by staying with Paul.
