The Days of our Lives Recap: Gabi Ripped Off The Mask

The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, August 16, 2019, features a day of bombshells in Salem. Anna rocked Tony’s world, Mr. Shen took Kate by surprise, and a catfight ended in a shocking reveal.

New Allies and Big Deals
Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) were shocked by Kate (Lauren Koslow) and “Nicole’s” little chat.

It’s not like Kate to beg for help or mercy. It was apparent Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was fully involved with Kristen and the second she left the room Ben and Ciara popped up and promised to help Kate.

The dynamic duo ran straight to Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and told her everything. She had just finished interrogating Xander (Paul Telfer) who demanded a new immunity deal in order to spill. That deal was looking better and better by the minute.

OMG Kristen!
Meanwhile, Nicole was running late for a meeting with Shin (Michael Hagiwara). Her delay gave Stefan (Brandon Barash) mere minutes to talk him out of even hearing Nicole. Stefan threw Nicole under the bus, blamed her for everything, and talked Shin into walking away.

When Nicole realized Shin blew her off she blew a gasket. She headed straight to the mansion assuming Gabi (Camila Banus) was behind it. (Gabi was too busy snooping through the police station to save Stefan to do anything else). The women had it out and things took a violent turn.

“Nicole” pushed Gabi, Gabi fought back, and once she grabbed “Nicole” by the hair it was over. The mask was off and Kristen was exposed!

A Big Tease
Finally, Anna (Leann Hunley) played with Tony’s (Thaao Penglis) emotions by claiming to be in love with Roman (Josh Taylor). She said she and Roman are getting married, you know, since he’s married to Nicole. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
