The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, July 19 features a rather odd day in the Kiriakis mansion. Susan showed up, had a gun, tried to seduce Brady, and then showed up again. Weird, right? Not so much if they knew what Xander knew.
So Many Susans
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) ran quite amok as her face twin, Susan. She entertained Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Will (Chandler Massey), got caught rifling through Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) boxer drawer, and even tried to kiss her obsession. She was on a roll. A very strange roll but nevertheless, a roll.
Sonny and Will saved Brady from her clutches after finding a gun in her purse. They had a pretty serious chat with “Susan” about gun safety and forced her to give up the firearm.
She did what she was told because she had to but she definitely did not want to. Giving up the gun was a huge setback. It forced her to call Xander and beg for her Nicole mask back.
Unfortunately, Kristen had the worst timing ever. No sooner did she leave the mansion than the real Susan showed up. It was deja vu for WilSon when they answered the door to yet another Susan.
The Case of the Mysterious Briefcase
Meanwhile, Xander (Paul Telfer) and Gabi (Camila Banus) got into a physical fight over his briefcase. He grabbed her, she kneed him where it counted and took off running. She got the case to her house but could not get it opened. She tried talking Rafe (Gilles Marini) into helping but it was a hard no. He even forced her to return it to Xander.
She complied, almost. She couldn’t find Xander but she did run into Brady. Gabi gave him the briefcase and told him to pass it off.
No Uncle Ben
Speaking of Rafe, he had a heart to heart talk with Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) about David. Jordan said no visits so Rafe had to abide by her rules. However, he did agree to revisit the issue when he got guardianship.
You’re Fired
It was great news for Ben. Unfortunately, Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) day did not go so well. First, she saw her mom making out with Ted (yuck) but then she got fired from her job.
It’s A Date
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Ted (Gilles Marini) decided to take their relationship to the next level. Her divorce was final and it was time to move on. They agreed to a real date. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
