The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, August 14, 2019 features Eve making a bold move in her quest for revenge against Jack.
Justin (Wally Kurth) was shocked when Eve (Kassie DePaiva) walked into the Kiriakis living room and told him she needed a lawyer to sue Jack (Matthew Ashford) for wrongful termination. Justin was a little curious about what type of bad info she has on Jack so she claimed he raped her.
Well, Justin wasn’t buying that one and gave her a MeToo speech about how many women are not believed when they accuse someone of sexual assault, so please don’t wrongly accuse someone. That got Eve to confess she was lying and Justin actually felt sympathy for her.
As they hugged it out, a furious Adrienne (Judi Evans) reamed into Justin for supporting this woman. After Eve left, Justin stunned Adrienne by saying he’d Eve’s case.
Jack wasn’t having a good day to begin with after Melinda informed him that Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) wrote a scathing editorial about his mayoral administration. After Jack read it, he and Jennifer had it out and she said she didn’t believe he was happy with who he is at all. She accused him of not even having a DA, so when Melinda happened by he re-hired her.
JJ (Casey Moss) also had quite an evening. When he arrived home he found Tripp shirtless on the couch and Haley falling down the stairs. He took her to the hospital where the sleeping pill saga came out. Dr. Kayla was furious with everyone.
Tripp had to explain to JJ that Haley was having Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) hallucinations after moving into Claire’s room. We’re surprised JJ didn’t think that might happen. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
