The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, May 25 features Chloe in big trouble after Mateo sees betrayal everywhere around him.
Rescue Mission
In Mexico, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) talked Miguel into letting her make a phone call but Mateo caught them — and killed Miguel.
Chloe was in shock and Mateo then got a call from Theresa, who warned him about the rescue mission and said she had nothing to do with it. Mateo left and Chloe found a knife on Miguel’s body.
Later, John (Drake Hogestyn) and Paul (Christopher Sean) tried to rescue Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), but Mateo walked in —and told them he’d been expecting them.
Jig Is Up
Earlier, Theresa (Jen Lilley) prayed to God to forgive her for leaving Chloe behind, which Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) almost overheard. She was a bit chilly to Theresa.
Torn Between Two Lovers
Brady (Eric Martsolf) called Eve (Kassie DePaiva), who wanted to hear his choice. He told her he loves her but wasn’t ready to answer. After he hung up, Theresa arrived and he admitted that he’s in love with Eve.
Marlena (Deidre Hall) arrived and told them John was headed to rescue Chloe, which worried Theresa. Alone, Brady confessed his conflicted feelings to Marlena, which Theresa overheard. Marlena warned him not to let guilt guide him.
Maggie visited Eve to say she’s on Team Eve and admitted that Theresa is too unpredictable for Brady. Later, Theresa arrived and told Eve to stop being selfish and leave Brady. Eve was having none of it.
Brady soon showed up and he said he didn’t want to keep them in limbo any longer!
Out of the Frying Pan…
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) kept Gabi (Camila Banus) company and since he had a captive audience, he told her all about Chloe.
Justin called to say her conviction was being overturned, so Lucas left Gabi alone to tell Will to tell Ari that she’s coming home. Gabi was thrilled but then Diane (Cassandra Creech) showed up.
