The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Monday, June 25 features Lani and Eli saying goodbye to their son.
Complete Dispair
Lani (Sal Stowers) told Eli (Lamon Archey) that she wanted to tell her son how much she loved him. He promised to see if he could make it happen, so he told Valerie (Vanessa Williams) and Abe (James Reynolds) what Lani wanted.
Abe thought it was a bad idea but Valerie made them realize this would be good for Lani and brought the baby to his parents.
Eli tried to hold it together as Lani showered their son with love and tears. They named him David Abraham Grant and had Father Louis on hand to oversee a religious ceremony.
Back Off
Theresa told in JJ (Casey Moss) about suing Brady (Eric Martsolf) for custody of Tate, and he asked if she did it for revenge.
While she’s angry about Eve (Kassie DePaiva), Theresa swore it wasn’t about that.
Brady and Eve arrived to confront her. Theresa suggested Brady just leave Eve and come home. Angry, Eve told her to stop taking it out on Brady when she’s mad at her. When Eve and Brady accused Theresa of being a bad mom, JJ stepped in.
After JJ told Brady to look in the mirror for who to blame, he threw them out. Brady threatened she wouldn’t get away with it. Theresa thanked JJ after his outburst surprised them both.
Sight For Sore Eyes
Chad (Billy Flynn) welcomed Abby (Marci Miller) back with kisses but he could remember seeing her in bed with Stefan, which upset him. She realized it and tried to talk about it.
Abby noticed he was wearing his father’s ring and Chad told her about his new job as well as Gabi. Later, Abby looked at the calendar worried she might be pregnant.
Free At Last
Gabi (Camila Banus) confronted Stefan (Tyler Christopher) about framing her and ended up with a job offer to run Gabi Chic for DiMera. Gabi accepted but still vowed to destroy him.
