Days of Our Lives Recap (DOOL): Hattie Gets Her Revenge Against Andre

The Days of Our Lives recap (DOOL) for Friday, September 8 features tables turned on Andre as Hattie finally got her revenge. But she could be facing the end of her reign of terror?

Sweet Revenge
Andre (Thaao Penghlis) was furious that “Marlena” (Deidre Hall) double crossed him, as men in white coats arrived to take him away and Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Roman (Josh Taylor) stood there in shock.

Hattie was thrilled to learn there’s nothing between Roman and Kate, and she tried to spark something with Roman. He once again turned her down.

Truth Is Out There
Paul (Christopher Sean) is convinced that something strange is going on with Marlena – so he took his suspicions to Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and caught her up on everything Marlena has been up to (lying to him, breaking up with John, kissing Roman).

Comparing Notes
Paul and Hope later found Roman and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and heard about what happened with Marlena. Hope told Paul he’s right — that woman’s not Marlena. She went after her, leaving Paul and Roman to realize they’ve been dealing with Hattie.

No Shocks Necessary
At the sanitarium, Marlena explained her fear about the shock therapy to John. While it’s a safe thing to use these days, the side effect could be memory loss — and she doesn’t want to forget a moment they’ve had together.

Andre arrived and was stunned when he encountered John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena at the same facility. After yelling at Marlena, she told him it was Hattie, stunning Andre. He insisted to the orderly that they be let go but alas… that was just crazy talk to the orderly.

Meanwhile, Hattie realized she better give up and leave town but she ran into her old friend Hope — who just happens to be on the other side of the law now.

Friends In Low Places
Adrienne (Judi Evans) met Hope’s former nemesis, Sheila (T-Boz) and convinced the woman, who is about to be released from prison (guess they never realized she killed Chillie), to take a card she’s written to Justin (Wally Kurth) at the Kiriakis mansion.

Determined to stir up trouble, Bonnie tried to get Victor’s (John Aniston) attention by turning on the waterworks about Maggie’s mistreatment of her. He ignored her, though she tried to butter him up – even putting her hand on his thigh, shocking him.

Later Sheila arrived at the mansion, and Justin answered the door. Double trouble confusion seems to be clearing up in Salem.
