The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, September 1 feature Gabi accepting a package from her brother that could end up costing the young woman her life.
Special Delivery
Gabi was about to cross the police line to go into TBD when she got grabbed. She was relieved it was only Eli (Lamon Archey), and the two sort-of exes discussed her breakup with Chad, with Eli not holding a grudge. But Gabi headed back to TBD, where she accepted a package.
Gabi (Camila Banus) not only opened the package but she also listened to what was inside – which was Raines revealing himself as Dario’s (Jordi Vilasuso) silent partner. Raines stepped out of the shadows to say that he wished Gabi hadn’t heard that. And so do we.
To The Rescue?
Gabi’s brother Rafe (Galen Gering) was the one who was supposed to get that package after Dario called him to tell him about it. Relieved, Rafe was then shocked to hear that Anjelica was found dead in Adrienne’s hotel room. Hope filled him in on some history and then Raines told her to interview Adrienne.
Awkward Roommates
Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) overheard “Adrienne” (Judi Evans) use some saucy language and asked her what she was talking about. Bonnie quickly realized Maggie’s no fan of Adrienne’s either – because she’s related to Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and hated the way she treated him. Hope then arrived and questioned “Adrienne” about Anj.

Justin ran into Lucas and hoped to get him to make peace with the fact he’s back with “Adrienne.” Lucas freaked out to realize Adrienne was with him the previous night and therefore wasn’t the woman he thought he slept with (even though she was).
Lucas was trying to get back on the wagon and pushed away his drink. But then he remembered his convo with Justin, and downed the alcohol in one gulp.
Payback’s A…
“Marlena” (Deidre Hall) met with Andre (Thaao Penghlis), letting him know she knew about Hattie, which shocked him. How does she know about Hattie? Hattie covers, saying that Hope told her all about the woman she met in prison. He thinks he needs a new doc but she insisted she can be impartial.
