The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, January 21 has everything to keep you on the edge of your seat because all hell broke loose!
Eric (Greg Vaughan) kissed Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), who was trying to get rid of the pain she was feeling in her heart. The next morning, Eric admitted to Rex (Kyle Lowder) that Sarah had been there. Rex tried to explain how he didn’t feel worthy of Sarah. Eric recalled rejecting Sarah, but kept that from Rex and only told him that she was upset.
Xander (Paul Telfer) gave Leo (Greg Rikaart) a drink and downed one himself in order to tolerate going to bed with Leo. In the morning, Leo woke up and realized he was in bed with a bottle.
Eric went looking for Sarah at the Kiriakis mansion. He opened the door to her room and found Sarah snuggled in bed next to Xander!
Victor (John Aniston) told Brady (Eric Martsolf) to meet with him the next morning and to his surprise was offered the CEO position.
Brady refused the position of CEO because of what Victor had done to him in the past. Victor said he missed Brady. Finally, Brady gave in and accepted — but insisted on certain conditions to be written in the contract.
Gabi (Camila Banus) stopped by Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) to discuss destroying Stefan. Gabi was shocked to hear that Kate turned down the CEO position at DiMera. Gabi begged her to ask the board to make Chad CEO. For Chad’s sake, Kate made the call.
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) challenged Chad (Billy Flynn) to a game of chess but Chad declined. The next morning, Chad was thrilled when he saw Abigail (Kate Mansi) with Charlotte at the DiMera mansion. He didn’t realize it was his day with her.
Abby was shocked to learn Stefan was free and lived there too. She refused to allow Charlotte to be there while Stefan lived there. Chad asked her to be patient and trust him to protect them. She hoped he was right. Later, Stefan told Chad he’d be the one packing his bags.
