The Days of Our Lives recap for Tuesday, October 30 features Claire channeling her father and grandmother’s detective genes to figure out what Tripp’s really been up to!
Young Quadrangle
Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) covered for Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) when Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Tripp (Lucas Adams) overheard their scheming. She told Ciara that Ben didn’t get the job and she should help him find one, and Ciara agreed.
They went off to have lunch while Claire stoked Tripp’s jealousy of Ben. She went on about the person who set up Ben and then realized it was Tripp!
Ciara wanted to talk with Roman about Ben working at the Pub, but he wasn’t there. Ben revealed a horrible story from his past about his father torturing a man in front of him on his father’s birthday. He had bought him a gift — a necktie. The significance overwhelmed Ben and he tried to kiss Ciara, but she pulled away.
Rafe (Galen Gering) tried to find evidence that Ben planted the evidence himself. The person who sold the can said it was a young man who bought it.
Eric (Greg Vaughan) told Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) that Nicole died. Jennifer felt guilty but Eric said he doesn’t blame her — he blames Brady. Later, Roman found him crying on the bench outside the Pub.

Over and Out
Eve (Kassie DePaiva) was devastated when Brady (Eric Martsolf) admitted to sleeping with Kristen and realized he still had feelings for her, which he didn’t deny. She told him that Stefan sold Basic Black so there’s nothing left for her and she’s leaving town.
Eve gave him back his ring. Later, Eve ran into Jennifer and told her everything’s her fault.
Pressure Cooker
Earlier, Roman (Josh Taylor) tried to play Hattie (Deidre Hall) for John (Drake Hogestyn) but she figured it out. Roman apologized to John and told Hattie she’s out of control. Once alone, John told her if he’s married to her, she will be Marlena 24/7 then — a different kind of prison.
