The Days of Our Lives recap for Thursday, November 8 features hell proverbially freezing over as Chad uses Ben’s “skills” to help him kidnap Abigail!
Plan Unravels
Chad (Billy Flynn) paid Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) to do him a big favor. When Ben left, he told Gabi (Camila Banus) that Ben was going to help him kidnap Abby and she freaked out.
Getting the Upperhand
Ben knocked out Stefan’s goon, and then even knocked out Stefan so Chad could gain access to the house. But, a lot more was happening between Abigail (Marci Miller) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) .
Kate drugged Abby’s drink, but when Kate walked away, Abby switched cups and Kate passed out just like Abby did for a few weeks.
Mama Mia
Sami (Alison Sweeney) talked Susan (Stacy Haiduk) down. She buttered her up and Susan finally agreed to get along and they even hugged it out. When Sami got him settled in his room, Stefan (Tyler Christopher) visited.
Since EJ was hardly well, she refused to pay him the second half of the money owed. Stefan offered to help. Once gone, Sami said they just needed each other.
Forever Bond
John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) caught up with Will (Chandler Massey) and Paul (Christopher Sean). Elsewhere, Belle (Martha Madison) updated Abe (James Reynolds) about Hattie and he suggested they get her parents married today and they did it as a surprise.
The last piece of the puzzle was Sami getting John and Marlena there. She told them she was leaving for Italy and wanted a last dinner with them in Horton Square. They found the impromptu ceremony and Abe married them. Sami hugged her loved ones goodbye.
At the end, the show paid tribute to their 53rd anniversary with an old clip of the late Frances Reid, who played Alice Horton, addressing the camera and thanking fans for all of their years watching.
