The Days of Our Lives recap for Tuesday, December 18 features Abby trying to stay a few steps ahead of Stefan with her Gabby masquerade… but it’s not easy!
Chad (Billy Flynn) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) got Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) help as she tried to tell Chad what happened before she passed out. Chad then asked Gabi (Camila Banus) why they were on the stairs.
JJ (Casey Moss) arrived so Chad quizzed Gabi, who admitted that Julie buys Abby’s story and was snooping in her room. Chad left with Julie since she was trying to tell him something.
Chad told Hope (Kristian Alfonso) everything, but she was confused why Julie would do that. Rafe (Galen Gering) brought Doug (Bill Hayes), per Hope’s request. They burst into Julie’s room to be with her. They worried she wasn’t waking up but stayed by her side.
Abby (Kate Mansi) thanked Stefan (Tyler Christopher) for standing up to Chad for her. He begged for her to let him take her to bed but luckily Charlotte cried.
When she called Julie again, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) answered it and told her everything. Later, Abby told Stefan she wanted to be a good mother to Charlotte.
A drunk Will (Chandler Massey) blamed Kate (Lauren Koslow) for Sonny marrying Leo. Kate apologized again and suggested he be Sonny’s slice on the side. She then told him to go to Sonny. When he got to Sonny, he told him about Julie.
Sonny felt horrible about the Leo situation but made things worse saying that they can’t be together at all in case Leo or Victor sees. They kissed and said goodbye.
Meanwhile, a panicked Gabi showed up at Kate’s. Kate insisted Gabi will be toast, not her but Gabi told her she’s not going to cover her. But Kate was appalled that Gabi wasn’t against killing her.
