Days of Our Lives Recap
The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, December 21 features Abby wanting total freedom as she gives Stefan the best gift ever (at least in her mind)!
Rafe (Galen Gering) went to see Stefan (Tyler Christopher) about Ted (Gilles Marini). Stefan laughed, realizing Rafe didn’t want Ted around Hope so he said if Ted keeps quiet, then they can have peace.
Abigail (Kate Mansi) had it out with Gabi (Camila Banus), who realized she’s really Abby. Abby accused her of pushing Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) down the stairs and being there to finish her off.
Gabi threatened to tell Stefan she’s Abby while Abby threatened to call Rafe, making Gabi back off and leave. Alone, Abby apologized to Julie and then got a call from her contact about the divorce. Later, she gave Stefan a gift— divorce papers, breaking his heart.
Chad (Billy Flynn) told Kate (Lauren Koslow) he was fired and she pumped him about Julie. Chad realized something was wrong but Kate talked her way out of it.
He then gave her Andre’s pocket watch. After he left, she composed a note telling him Charlotte’s his but then threw it way. Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Gabi wondered how to get the DNA results to Chad but he found her and asked what she had.
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) reconnected as besties (and cousins). Jennifer asked why Hope asked her to lie. Hope only admitted it was about Ciara and apologized.
They worried about Doug (Bill Hayes), making him eat before they headed to the hospital to see Julie. Rafe joined Hope and updated her on his talk with Stefan as Doug begged Julie to come back to him — and her eyes opened!
JJ (Casey Moss) saved Haley’s (Thia Megia) life. She wanted to die but he told her about trying to kill himself. He tried to explain how much his life changed. While his words about having faith got to her, she didn’t have anything to say. Despite that, JJ stayed to watch over her.
