Tender Forgiveness? Can Nicole Ever Give It To Eric on Days Of Our Lives (DOOL)?

On Days Of Our Lives (DOOL), Brady dispatched Eric to rescue Nicole and Holly. Nicole’s response to Eric’s arrival was to launch into a diatribe about how she will never, ever, ever forgive Eric, no matter what.

Oh, Nicole (Arianne Zucker), are you really in any position to be judging… anyone? Where are you now? Oh, yeah, in a cage. Because you’re on the run with the baby you kidnapped.

(Fine, Holly is your biological child, but a judge didn’t think you were a fit parent, so it’s still kidnapping, no matter how you slice it.) And what about that baby you actually kidnapped? Remember Sydney?

How about those attempted murder charges? Victor? Paul? Colin?

And we don’t have enough room to list all the blackmail schemes.

Accidental Killer
Nicole meant to commit every single one of her crimes. And she isn’t particularly sorry about a bunch of them. Eric, on the other hand, killed Daniel (Shawn Christian) by accident — nobody disputes that.

Now, granted, Daniel was the most important and beloved citizen of Salem, invoked more after his death than even patriarchs Tom and Alice Horton. So killing him must carry some sort of extra penalty.

But still, really Nicole? You expect to be forgiven for everything you’ve done because you’re blonde and pretty and boy, can you turn on the waterworks.

But Eric doesn’t deserve any absolution ever from you? Heck, even Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) was more understanding, and Daniel was her kidnapped egg baby!

We Don’t Need Another Hero
The guy risked his life for you, Nicole. You and the guy you claim to love — and got shot — if Brady (Eric Martsolf) dies, will she also never forgive herself?

More importantly, you need him to get away from the psycho holding you and your baby hostage. How about you make nice — before Eric (Greg Vaughan) gets fed up and leaves you to rot in paradise.
