Days of Our Lives News: Salem Says So Long to “Summer” Time

Summer has certainly stirred up her share of “Days of Our Lives” trouble since Brady fished her out of the ocean earlier this year. Now it seems Brady and Salem have seen enough of Summer, and she’s on her way out in July.

While actress Marie Wilson learned she was off the Salem canvas before we ever laid eyes on Summer, she’s done enough to drive half the town crazy during her DAYS stint.

Since Brady (Eric Martsolf) brought her home Summer has disrupted Maggie’s life, conned Brady out of cash, and was responsible for a man’s death. While Brady doesn’t know it all, he knows enough now to want her gone.

Wilson has no regrets about her time in Salem, although Summer may have a few.

“There were lots of levels to Summer, and that’s what made it so much fun,” Wilson said in the July 11 issue of Soap Opera Digest. “She was full and complex. That’s a blessing for any actor to have the opportunity to play.”
