Days of Our Lives News: The Return of Kim and Shane???

A cryptic tweet from a rarely seen “Days of Our Lives” day player points to the distinct possibility that the Donovans may be returning to Salem this fall.

Yes, DAYS is already taping its November sweeps episodes and Larry Poindexter (Father Louis) gave 80s fan faves Charles Shaughnessy and Patsy Pease a social media shout-out today.

Does this mean we’ll see Kim and Shane for a special church occasion? With Eric Martsolf also mentioned in the tweet, could a November wedding be in the works for Brady and Theresa?

The last time we saw Kimberly, she was visiting Salem last year after learning she had a grandson. She tried to get her daughter and Little Tate to return to California with her, but Jeanne Theresa (Jen Lilley) had other plans–namely using every trick in the book to nab Brady.

Well, it seems tricks didn’t do the trick, but good old-fashioned love and romance did. With Poindexter’s priest working with Pease, Shaughnessy, and Martsolf, wedding bells just might ring six months down the line. Stay tuned to find out…
