Deimos surprised Nicole with a marriage proposal on Days of Our Lives and was thrilled when she accepted.

Having finally come to terms with Daniel’s (Shawn Christian) death, Nicole believes she’s ready to move on. Deimos has been her rock, patiently allowing her to mourn her former fiancé and supporting her through her grief.

Along the way, he fell madly in love with Nicole and believes she is his one true shot at happiness.

But what do Days of Our Lives viewers think about the latest development between the couple? Are you happy that Deimos and Nicole are engaged?

Ugh! No Way
According to 42% of fans, this whole thing is like a bad dream. There’s no way you want to see your gal Nicole married to a scoundrel like Deimos, and you were stunned that she said yes to his proposal.

You think Nicole deserves a lot better than the former con, who clearly hasn’t shed his evil ways. In fact, with Theresa out of the picture, you were hoping she might hook up with her ex, Brady (Eric Martsolf), or, perhaps, find new love with Dario (Jordi Vilasuso).

The verdict is still out for 29% of you. It all depends on how things go moving forward. If Deimos turns over a new leaf and forsakes his criminal activities, you would be happy for him and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) to take their relationship to the next level.

But if he continues all the wheeling and dealing and doing bad deeds, you’re not planning on “attending” their nuptials.

Absolutely! They’ve Grown on Me
Meanwhile, another 29% of you are totally on board for Deimos and Nicole’s engagement. You’ve hated seeing Nicole alone and have been eager for her to find a new guy.

Although Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) wasn’t your first choice for Nic, you’ve come to appreciate his love for and devotion to her. As a result, the surprise pairing has totally grown on you.
