Days of Our Lives Fans Weigh in on What They Want to See Next

The Olympics have pre-empted Days of Our Lives until August 22, leaving several storylines up in the air as a result.

The last episode aired on August 5, and the preview of things to come could rival any Friday cliffhanger. Soap Hub asked you which storyline you’re most looking forward to seeing continue after the break, and it was a close race for two of them.

Summer Lovin’
For 50% of you, it’s all about one tender love story. You’ve waited a long time for Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) to finally get it together, and on the last show before the break, they finally made love. You’re dying to see how things progress for the lovebirds now that she finally kicked Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) to the curb. These two were made for each other and you can’t wait to bask in their happiness.

Bring Her Back Alive
On the cliffhanger episode, it seemed like Abigail’s fate was sealed. That is, until we found out that the so-called proof had been arranged by Andre (Thaao Penghlis). It seems 42% of you can’t wait to see poor Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Chad (Billy Flynn) put out of their misery by finding out that their dear Abigail is back in the land of the living. Hopefully, once that happens, those two will stop fighting over custody and concentrate on bringing Abigail back home where she belongs.

Power Struggle
The final 8% can’t wait to see what happens now that Aiden has been appointed the district attorney of Salem. There are plenty of people he could stir up trouble for, first and foremost being Rafe and Hope. Also, he Andre’s puppet, so he has to be prepared to do the devil’s bidding. This turn of events is sure to shake things up and you can’t wait to see what happens.
