Gone but not forgotten is what Days Of Our Lives fans feel about Chad and Abby. They went through hell — and two different faces for both. They had kids. They got married. They moved to Paris. And they lived happily ever after. But did they? Did they really?
Sure, that’s what the webisodes suggested. But is it really real if it doesn’t happen in Salem? (Or, at least, on a set next to Salem that’s pretending to be somewhere else.)
We asked almost 23,000 fans whether or not they missed having Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abby (Kate Mansi) on-screen every day. Here’s what they said:
Bring Them Home
For 87% of you, there ain’t nothing like the real thing, baby. And that means Chad and Abby, and Thomas and Charlotte, for good measure, back in Salem, not in a foreign country canoodling with Carrie Brady’s ex.

Sure, happily ever after is nice and all, but good drama is even better. Can’t you just see Chad and Abby fighting Gabi (Camilla Banus) for control of the precious family company, plus dealing with all the grudges they’ve built up over the years? They might even form a united front against Kate (Lauren Koslow) or anyone else who wants to usurp them. And they can’t do that from Paris!
Distance Learning
A much smaller 13% of the audience is good with Chad and Abby keeping their distance. Whether it’s because you know that returning to Salem means returning to potential heartache, or because you have enough with them the first time around, the result is the same — keep taking Paris, guys!
For hard-core fans, they can watch on the web. But for those of you who didn’t appreciate how they devoured the show the last time they were on, Chabby can keep their distance. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
