The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Monday, November 20 features Roger betraying Susan to help Will finally believe what everyone has been telling him.
A Mother’s Anguish
Sami (Alison Sweeney) can barely contain her anger when it comes to Susan (Eileen Davidson) and the tricks she’s pulled to steal Will (Chandler Massey) from her.
She tried to get him to see Susan’s memories were of her son EJ, which happened before he was even born. So Sami shared stories of Will’s childhood. Sami then suggested they get a DNA test. She tried to show him pictures of his life and even of EJ. When it became too much, Will took off.
Susan tried to leave but Sami threw her down. She then said how much EJ loved her, but that what she’s doing now is so wrong. She kept at it until Susan snapped and smacked her hard.
Sonny (Freddie Smith) told Paul (Christopher Sean) what Susan did to Will. Paul tried to be supportive and Sonny called him on his sincerity, considering how he kept the secret from him. Paul tried to explain and poured his heart out but Sonny spotted Will and quickly went to him.
Will still had no interest in hearing what Sonny had to say but then Marlena entered (Deidre Hall) and Will said he’d seen her before. He admitted Sami showed him her picture. Before she could make headway, Susan came in. John brought in Roger (John Enos) and he refused to back up Susan’s story.
Misguided
Earlier, John (Drake Hogestyn) tried to talk Marlena (Deidre Hall) into using something she learned as Susan’s doctor against her. She argued it was unethical. She said she wasn’t evil but rather under Stefano’s influence.
Trouble in Paradise
All is not well for Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering). She was ticked that when she needed him, he was off with Sami.
He started to badmouth JJ (Casey Moss) and she said he had no idea what he was saying because he wasn’t there. It seemed like they ended things on a good note but neither seemed very happy.
Reunited And It Feels So Good
Adrienne (Judi Evans) and Justin (Wally Kurth) lamented how life isn’t ever easy for them or their family. But he never gave up on her, and they hope Sonny will come through everything like they have. Things heat up and the two finally make love.
